Writes: I do believe that this will help a great deal - one more factor that contributes to congestion is the emergency crews following an accident - the wrecker has moved the vehicles and/or ambulance has done their thing - by the time I approach the accident site all is over and done with - yet they stand around for no apparent reason with one police vehicle in the middle of a lane and they block the highway and cause congestion.  Just get to your office and write up your report and get your car off the middle of the highway.

Jan, Good Point. We know it can be frustrating, but the RCMP are just doing their job. Now days with insurance claims and liability, The RCMP must take their time and get it right the first time. Once they leave they leave the scene it would almost be impossible to recreate to accident scene. Drive slower and be patient..they are doing the best they can! - JC Rathwell

Randal Q. Writes: I own a business downtown and there is all this talk about trying to revitalize the downtown. I would like to suggest putting in a trolley that runs down the middle of Bernard and moves at a slow pace that most people could get off without it even stopping.

Randal, your idea sounds great and would give the Downtown something really unique. Our biggest concern would be the costs that would be involved in such an undertaking. - JC Rathwell
